BIOGRAPHY
Victor Crowl is a self-managed singer, songwriter, mentor, entrepreneur,
choreographer, filmmaker, and producer.
Jamaican born, Toronto raised, Victor Crowl is ambitious & tenacious,
creating Smile Music & Film Productions, Ltd., as a production &
promotional conduit for himself and other artists. It is through this
self-cultivated creative environment that Crowl has spent the past 20
years, emphatically developing his writing, film & music projects.
The 1989's "Can't Stay Away" & 1996's "The Healing"
are Crowl's musical signposts and proof of his uncompromising efforts.
Victor has orchestrated nine music videos/short films as actor, writer,
editor, production manager, choreographer, cinematographer, producer
& director. Several of those music videos played on Much Music and
other video shows across the country. Victor - who loves to perform
- has been viewed live on national television, and has had his music
synchronized to television and films which have been viewed by millions
and continue to be aired in syndication throughout the world.
The year 2006 became earmarked as Victor's global break-out year, seeing
the release of his forthcoming third studio recording entitled "Freedom
Odyssey", "The Kitarraps" a fantasy Novella based on
Victor's Trilogy of the same name, his feature documentary filmed over
the past 20 years called "What It Takes", plus his feature
film, a dramatic musical journey entitled "Many Seasons".
